Description: Alata "night" pitcher plant is renowned for it's brooding rich coloration. For those of us that love the natural bog garden look, it's a great addition to the landscape. It produces a decent spring show and a tremendous fall show; pair it with other fall-growing species like the white top pitcher plant for an authentic native bog look. It grows to 32 inches tall.
Pitcher Plant Care: Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and perlite in a very large planter and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.
All plants will ship bare root, without pots and soil.
