Readii is a simple hybrid between rubra and leucophylla that is slender and vigorous. We crossed it to a beautiful wild moorei that takes years to get established. We figure some of the seedlings will be thin with lots of color. Some seedlings will absolutely destroy your neighbors with jealously.
Sarracenia 'The Kraken' is a readii x moorei. These seeds were made from different, but equally impressive parents!
If you're patient and meticulous, growing from seed is a good way to dramatically expand your pitcher garden. Each packet contains approximately 25 seeds.
