It visually leans toward its flava parentage, strongly resembling a petite flava var. rugelii cut throat pitcher plant. Its lime-green tubes have a strong throat blotch and very faint areoles just under the mouth from its leucophylla ancestry. Its distinctive red outlined lid is both subtle and elegant! Traps will often turn chartreuse in full sun.
