Nepenthes, or tropical pitcher plants are vines native to the Philippines. Plant them in a plastic hanging basket using an airy, low-nutrient media that retains water. Orchid potting mix works well, but don't let your nepenthes dry out. The tips of the leaves (the pitcher) will burn if the media dries out.
Grow them in temperatures between 55 and 85 degrees.
Hang your tropical pitcher plant in a very sunny window. They love to grow in our south-facing window above the kitchen sink because of the bright light and humidity.
Don't ask us questions about how to grow your tropical pitcher plant, we don't have much experience with these!
