
Sarracenia "Bud Wilkerson" is a naturally-occurring hybrid from the Wilkersons bog in North Florida introduced into cultivation by Brooks Garcia. This plant has an extremely prominent throat and mostly green body with some white areoles.
Sarracenia 'Leah Wilkerson' is also a wild hybrid from North Florida. It is renowned for its vigor, size and coloration. It is likely a complex hybrid of Sarracenia leucophylla , Sarracenia flava and Sarracenia flava x leucophylla. In cultivation it can reach 36 inches in height. Lids are a pale yellow verging on white, with regularly spaced red veining throughout.
Its always exciting to see plants from the same locale crossed together. Its a chance to see what is possible in the wild. Expect greens, some whitish spots and red throats on big plants.
