Description: These seedlings are a mix of plants that look very much like Sarracenia flava and plants that look like Sarracenia catesbaei. Some of them have such dark maroon throats that it’s hard to comprehend. They all have a combination of red and chartreuse. We are very interested in the breeding potential of these plants. If making seeds sounds fun, then get one to watch it mature and make your own seeds!
Each one is beautifully unique and special.
Pitcher Plant Care: Plant Sarracenia in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss in a very large planter and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.
