Sarracenia ‘Waccamaw’ is the most beautiful example of flava var. atropurpurea. It has red color that saturates the entire exterior of the leaf. In striking contrast, the interior is bright yellow, maturing to red with vertical venation. Phyllodia are produced in fall. It is by far, the most attractive Sarracenia flava in cultivation.
Sarracenia 'Alucard' x oreophilla is an outstanding complex clone we obtained from Wes Bukner that has a large undulating yellow hood over a veined red tube with a wide mouth and resembles a rubricoropora on steroids. This clone grows large and puts its best leaves up in the spring due to its parentage.
Both of the plants used in this cross are stunning and have some extremely desirable attributes to offer the next generation of seedlings, if you want some fast growing flava dominant plants with spectacular color and size then pick some of these up and grow them out!
Each packet contains approximately 25 seeds.
