Sarracenia leucophylla "purple lips" is one of the most desirable clones of the white top pitcher plant. It has outstanding proportions, lovely delicate coloration and mostly produces leaves in the fall. It is a parent many well-known cultivars, including S. 'Saurus'.
Sarracenia ‘Adrian Slack’ produces its largest pitchers in the spring, measuring 2 feet tall with a 2.5 wide mouth. Fall leaves are slightly smaller and equally as beautiful. This plant is incredible in all aspects and has given rise to many sought-after hybrids. S. ‘Legacy’ and S. ‘Inspiration’ are just two examples of spectacular cultivars using S. ‘Adrian Slack’ as a parent.
