Description: Sarracenia Flava "Extreme Throat” is a group of spectacular looking flava with an unusually large amount of red in the throat of the plant. These plants originated from Bay Co. Florida and show evidence of a few different Flava varieties being crossed together.

“Extreme Throat” has grown to around 30 inches for us here under optimal conditions. All of them have well defined throats and varying amounts of venation.

Pitcher Plant Care: Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and perlite in a extremely large planter and keep it wet. This is a very large-growing plant so planting it out in a bog garden is ideal. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.

All plants will ship bare root, without pots and soil.
