Description: Sarracenia “Biggie Shorty” x ‘Super Heavy Veins’ seedlings are complex hybrids. They are leucophylla x flava with a very small amount of purpurea. The purpurea parentage is why they will mature to medium height plants with vibrant colors. There is lots of amazing potential in this group. Each one is distinct and different!
Pitcher Plant Care: Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and perlite in a very large planter and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.
