Description: S. flava var. atropurpurea has an all-red leaf with varying amounts of yellow on the interior. It's not as fast growing as the other color forms of the trumpet pitcher plant, but it sure is redder! These seedlings were lovingly grown from our fantastic seed mixes.

Pitcher Plant Care: Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and perlite in a very large planter and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.
