Description: Sarracenia "Wilkersons White Knight" is a breathtaking hybrid of leucophylla and flava. Compared to many other Sarracenia, it is very slow-growing and thus rare in cultivation. Most notably, it produces spectacular offspring and is prized by gardeners who breed Sarracenia. It was never registered as a cultivar.
It is known for its bulky, rigid pitchers and a red throat blotch against a pale yellow background. Because of its Sarracenia flava and Sarracenia leucophylla parentage, it produces leaves in both spring and fall. Expect its best show in the fall.
Pitcher Plant Care: Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and perlite in a very large planter and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.
All plants will ship bare root, without pots and soil.
