Sarracenia C8 x [(leucophylla "Purple Lips" x flava var ornata) x 'Adrian Slack'] seeds

C8 is an unnamed seedling that is fast growing and makes large upright leaves in the spring that have a small lid and round mouth.  In the summer it makes curved leaves

The clone of (leucophylla "Purple Lips" x flava var ornata) x 'Adrian Slack' we used for this crossed is temporarily nicknamed d3.  It is a very similar plant to 'Adrian Slack' in its size and growth habit.  In the fall its leaves are cherry red (pictured).

The best seedlings of the bunch will be moorei that will win a ribbon at the county fair!
