Sarracenia flava var rubricorpora "Special Dark" is our favorite seed-grown flava var. rubricorpora. It is very strong-growing and darker than S. 'Black Widow' in the summer.
The clone of S. flava var. cuprea we used in this cross has a history of making a second set of leaves in the fall, which is usually a trait that plants with distant leucophylla parentage have.
