S. flava "F221" clearly has some developmental disabilities. It is short, slow-growing, and not sturdy. But on the upside its lids are missing!
The S. flava var ornata we used in this cross is from our own breeding program. It is large, sturdy, and has intense coloration in the throat with an oversized lid.
