S. 'Legacy' has a very narrow hood column, plenty of white and makes great leaves in the spring and summer. It is large-growing and has an outlandish dark throat and below-average sturdiness. S. 'Saurus' makes dark maroon leaves with angular lips in the spring. It has been known to make very large leaves!
We did two other crosses that are very similar to this. We crossed S. 'Legacy' to two of the siblings of S. 'Saurus'. Test your pitcher plant knowledge and try to find them! Hint: the names are S. 'Hot Lips' and S. 'Super Heavy Veins'.
