The Venus Flytrap is a perennial that is native to the coast of North Carolina. It catches its own fertilizer by snapping shut on bugs!
Typical of some of the nicest Venus flytrap clones, D. Flexx has large, low-growing leaves with dark maroon interiors. This fantastic plant is inexplicably patented.
Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and perlite in a very large planter or bog garden and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.
