Description: S. “Super Heavy Veins” is very large Moorei that produces thick spring leaves up to 34 inches tall. Expect its size to be comparable to any clone of the same parentage.
New leaves emerge densely veined and mature to deep red. Fall leaves are just as colorful and shapely. It was created by Phil Faulisi by crossing S. leucophylla "purple lips" and S. flava var. ornata. It is a sibling to S. ‘Saurus’, ‘Vintner’s Treasure’ and ‘Hot Lips’.
Pitcher Plant Care: Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and perlite in a very large planter and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.
All plants will ship bare root, without pots and soil.
