Description: S alata "Black Orgel's Orchids" is best known as one of the parents of 'Black Widow'. It is a fantastic plant in it's own right. Its fast growth rate is off the charts! Use it in your garden for the natural bog look. It produces a decent spring show and a tremendous fall show; pair it with other fall-growing species like the white top pitcher plant. It grows to 24" tall.
Pitcher Plant Care: Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and perlite in a very large planter and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.
