Sarracenia 'Black Widow' is the hybrid of S. flava var. rubricorpora and S. alata. Its leaves emerges maroon in the summer and matures to very dark burgundy in the fall.
We made this cross because 'Black Widow' x 'Belly of Blood' was so successful. The combination of these two plants could produce very fat, medium height plants with dramatic coloration!
