Description: In the spring, Sarracenia gilpinii x minor var. okefenokeensis produces a very attractive display of 12" tall hooded leaves and a unique two-tone flower. In the summer and fall it takes on a very full appearance with a large display of mottled burgundy leaves. It is very wind resistant and visually appealing!
Pitcher Plant Care: Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and perlite in a very large planter and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.
