The clone of Sarracenia 'Leah Wilkerson' x 'Royal Ruby' we used to make these seeds is temporarily nicknamed d8. Unusual for this cross, it is quite vigorous. It makes a great set of thin-lipped leaves in the spring and another excellent set of leaves in the fall (pictured).
Some years S. 'Saurus' makes a few big leaves in the spring with points on the lip. It is dark!
The best plants from this seed batch will be intermediate of the two parents!
