Sarracenia leucophylla x moorei is one of our favorite plant parents. It appears to have a touch of S. oreophila genes, so the results are often breathtaking. This is one of the parents to S. "Grace"!
Because S. flava "Claret" has a recessive gene for the "lidless" trait, about half of these seedlings will also have a recessive lidless gene.
Expect an array of very special looking flava, some of which will have very dark coloration under the lid.
