The S. 'Lunchbox' x umlauftiana clone we used to make these seeds grows to about 12 inches tall and has an attractive tubby shape. S. 'Caitrin Claire' makes its best leaves in the spring, and then very sparse leaves in the fall. It passes on its narrow hood column and vivd colors to its offspring.
The best seedlings will have the vibrant colors and narrow hood column of 'Caitrin Claire' and the mini-tubby leaves of 'Lunchbox' x umlauftiana.
