Description: Sarracenia moorei "albino" is the hybrid of an albino S. leucophylla and an albino S. flava. An albino plant doesn't produce anthocyanin, the red pigment normally present in leaves and flowers. The exciting thing about an albino plant in the garden is its visual contrast with conventional red and pink plants.
Expect these unique and distinct seed-grown plants to make large pointy-lidded leaves in the spring and fall. They will likely have more lime green spots at the top of the leaves as they mature.
Pitcher Plant Care: Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and perlite in a very large planter and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.
All plants will ship bare root, without pots and soil.
